With a big-and-little size combo, you’re looking at 560-15 front runners and super cool 820-15 Firestone Dragster cheater slicks out back. The tires feature authentic wide whitewalls, and the cheater slicks are DOT approved. The tires are shipped to your door mounted to a set of OE steel wheels, sized at 15×5 and 15×6 for a great staggered fitment. This combination works well on an old school hot rod, rat rod or gasser, and it comes complete with Spider caps, rubber valve stems and open-end lug nuts. Typically wide whitewalls run all the way to the bead. Narrow whitewalls will stop somewhere before the bead, resulting in a narrower band of exposed white rubber. Bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. This style was popular into the early sixties, eventually being replaced by narrow whitewalls altogether.
