The newest design of the Buick Style, Hot Rod Disc Brake Kit is a truly incredible assembly that has taken years of development and gone thru several stages of engineering to becoming the iconic kit it is today. From improved hub design, to 1 inch narrowed track width, and even top mount bleeder screws and re-engineered drums with tighter radii that fit more wheels then ever before, the Buick Style Hot Rod Brakes are the perfect choice for any hot rod!

Featuring all polished, die cast aluminum drum covers with a tight radii to clear a wide range of wheels, investment cast and CNC machined stainless steel scoops, and deep drawn stamped stainless steel backing plates. Hidden inside is a 4 piston, forged aluminum caliper with top mount bleeder screws that simplify brake jobs over previous versions. Caliper brackets are manufactured from 6061 aluminum plate with pressed in steel inserts for added assurance when mounting your caliper. Includes bolt on 10 3/4″ X 0.810″ rotors and CNC machined, forged aluminum, tri-drilled hubs with screw on dust caps. Narrows track width 1 inch over previous versions, and no bearing adapter is required. This kit is machined for, and includes bolts for blind hole steering arms. If using thru hole style arms, spacers will be required to clear backing plate. Accepts 1/8″ NPT brake line fittings. All bearings, seals, and spindle nuts included. Spindles, steering arms, king pin kit, and brake fittings are NOT included in this kit, they are shown for reference only. This kit is also available in an un-polished finish on this store. NOTES & TIPS:

Remember to always use Anti-Seize on all stainless steel and aluminum parts.

Spindles, steering arms, king pins, etc… are not included in this kit, they are shown for reference only.

Some original style 5 X 5 1/2″ wheels require a plate that mimics original drums to make the wheel seat correctly.

This kit is machined specifically for blind hole steering arms. If using thru hole type steering arms, spacers may be required to clear backing plate.
