Specialty made batwings for spring in front of axle when using 4 Bar or Hairpins. Commonly used on 35 – 40 Ford (Note – Stock 35-36 axles are 2″ perch boss and will require perch shims). 2 1/4″ perch boss and 2″ wide spring with 3/4″ ID shackle Bushing ID. Includes support arms to prevent spring movement. Un-polished stainless steel finish. SOLD AS KIT
FEATURES:
These batwings are perfect for converting an Early Ford to 4-Bar or Hairpin front suspension. Common for 35 – 40 Ford or other Early Fords with spring in front of axle applications. Fits 2 1/4″ perch boss (2″ boss axles will require shims to work.) Includes support arms to prevent front end binding or movement. For 9/16″ dia. mounting bolts (not included.) Accepts 2″ wide springs – overall spring length determined by axle perch center distance. Un-polished stainless steel construction, but also available in fully polished on this store.
