Designed to fit 1949-53 Ford flathead V8 engines and accepts stock adjustment flange. No points, condenser, or any black/red boxes – just attach 2 wires to your regular ignition coil, no special vacuum requirements. Machine tested and ready to go right out of box from factory.

FEATURES:

Stromberg’s E-Fire Electronic Distributor is designed to fit 1949-53 Ford flathead V8 engines. This distributor features a 12-volt negative ground and a reliable electronic ignition. No points no condenser and no black or red boxes to worry about, just a simple 2 wire hookup. Stromberg’s E-Fire Distributor is made with an old school style ID tag with unique numbers and is built to trigger most multi-spark CD ignitions. Best of all, every distributor is machine tested and tuned to run great right out of the box.

Must be used with standard points style coil only. Do NOT use HEI type coils. Stromberg recommends 1.5 ohm coils for best results. 1.5 Ohm coils are also available on this store. See PER-40011 for more details.
